Back on Your Feet is such a fun stamp set to use. The images are comical and can be used for both a juvenile and adult card. They are so much fun to color. I just love the giraffe “this is knot good” just cracks me up.
For the turtle card I used a crushed curry base with a piece of DSP from the Mosaic Moods Specialty Paper. The leaves are cut out of Garden Green and Mint Macaron using the dies from Magnolia Memory. I stamped the image and sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento and colored the turtle with Dark Shaded Spruce, Light Call Me Clover, Dark Mint Macaron and Light Pool Party Stamping Blends . The image and sentiment were die cut using the Stitched Nested Label Dies. The ribbon is the Mint Macaron Textile Ribbon.
The sloth is laying on a tree branch with a bandaged leg, he actually looks like me when I get home from work, tired. I used a Mint Macron card base with the Mosaic Moods Specialty DSP. I cut the front panel of the card in half (2-1/4″) so you could see the DSP on the inside of the card when you are looking at the front, The panel of Whisper White on the inside of the card for the sentiment is 5-1/4″ x 2-1/4″ which is also the same measurement for the two panels of DSP. I used the Layering Circle Dies to cut the image out. I colored the Sloth with Stampin Blends using the Light and Dark Soft Suede, Light Call me Clover and Dark Mint Macaron. I tried to push some of the Dark Soft Suede out using the Color Lifter, I thought he was too dark and it pushed it passed my image, so that’s why he looks like he had an accident. lol The twine is the Mint Macaron from the Nature’s Twine Set. I used Mint Macaron Sequins from the Basic Adhesive Backed Sequin Set.
This card is my favorite, I just love the giraffe. I used a Garden Green Card Base with a mat of Terracotta Tile. The card base is 4-1/8″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″. I cut 2-1/4″ of the bottom of the front of the card. The flap around the bottom of the card is 8-1/2″ x 2-1/4″ scored at 2-1/4″ on both sides and adhered to the back. For the top flap the Terracotta tile is cut at 4-1/16″ by 3-1/8″ and the DSP is 3-13/16″ x 3″. For the bottom front flaps the Terracotta Tile is cut at 2-1/8″ x 2″ and the DSP is 2″ x 1-7/8″. These measurements are a tad smaller than our normal matting due to needing that extra 1/8 of an inch to be able to wrap the flap on the bottom around the card. The giraffe is stamped on Whisper White and die cut with the Stitched Rectangle measuring 2-1/4″ x 3-9/16″. The Terracotta layer is 3-3/4″ x 2-3/8″ and the Garden Green layer is 3-7/8″ x 2-1/2″. Phew…….if you didn’t know fractions before, you do now! For the Stampin Blends I used Light and Dark Soft Suede and Dark So Saffron.

As promised here is a picture of my Geared Up Garage Sampler. The picture is not very good, I took it with the frame sitting on one of my office chairs.
The backing is a sheet of 12″ x 12″ black cardstock. I left a 1″ margin around the edge and a 1/2″ between each of the pictures. I used the Geared Up Garage Stamp Set along with the Garage Gears Thinlit Dies and the retired Classic Garage 6″x6″ DSP. And of course the Classic Garage Metal Elements, carried over yeah, you know how I love my trinkets! The Let it Ride saying is from of course the Let It Ride stamp set. The Happy Birthday is from the Well Written Framelits and the 50 is from the retired Large Number Framelits. It’s a shame these retired, these are definitely my go to when I need numbers.
Making samplers is not as hard as it looks, there fun to make and once you get started you end up with more little cards than what you need.

It’s August now and summer is almost over. The Holiday catalog is coming out on September 1st and everyone is on the Christmas theme now. I placed my pre-order yesterday so it will take about a week, they are extremely busy at the warehouse right now, so until then I am still playing with the Annual catalog.
I found it very easy to use the Bird Ballad Suite, especially with the Bird Ballad Laser Cut Cards. The tin that the cards and envelopes come in is just gorgeous.
I’ve attached the Facebook Live that I recorded making this card. Please excuse the two part video, I stopped the video before I was finished. My son tells me he dummy proofed the use of the video equipment he set up for me, but obviously he forgot who he was dealing with.

Here are two cards made with the Come Sail Away Memories and More Card pack. You can make quick and easy cards using the card pack. The first card is a Night of Navy card base with a mat of Come Sail Away DSP and a mat of Balmy Blue behind the Card. I used the matching dies to cut out the wheel using Soft Suede and the Thanks is from the Sailing Home stamp set with the label die that comes in the Smooth Sailing Dies. I used the Night of Navy/Sahara Sand bakers twine.
The second card was from the same sets only I used Mossy Meadow as the card base and Very Vanilla.
