Halloween is coming right around the corner. The Spooktacular Bash stamp set along with the Ornate Frames Dies are so cute to make cards or treat boxes or bags. They pair really well with our Coffin Treat Boxes.
I started with a card base of basic black cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ folded at 4-1/4″. I used a mat of Rococo Rose cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″. The DSP cut to 5″ x 3-3/4″ from the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper. The pull tab is 2″ wide by 6″ scored on the 6″ side at 2″ and 2-1/2″. The pull edge is punched using the Scalloped Tag Topper. The top flap is 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ die cut with the largest stitched shape framelits on Rococo Rose. The ornate frame around the “Open if you dare” and the emblem are die cut using the Ornate Frames Dies. The largest flap is lined up to the 2-1/2″ score line. The smaller frame is 2nd largest die from the stitched shape framelits for the Basic Black and the Rococo Rose is cut from the 3rd largest framelit. Again the vampire is stamped from Spooktacular Bash and Die cut with the Ornate Frames Dies. This is adhered lining up with the 2″ score line. The slit that the band slides through is punched with the Classic Label Punch through the DSP and the Rococo Rose mat. The smaller frame is then attached to the designer series paper to hold it down when you pull on the tab. Use dimensionals to attach the Rococo Rose mat to the Basic Black card base making sure to go around the tab so it will still slide out. Attach a piece of Basic Black 3/8″ Scalloped Edge Ribbon as the pull on the tab.
A fancy fold card using the Garden Lane Designer Series Paper (DSP). I used a base of Garden Green of 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. I folded the paper in half to open at the right and trimmed off 2″. The mat of Pear Pizzaz is cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″ and stamped with the vines from the Verdant Garden Stamp set using the Pear Pizzaz stamp pad stamping off once.
The left flap has a mat of the Garden Lane DSP cut to 4″ x 3-1/4″. The white is cut to 7-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ scored at 4″. The DSP on the front is 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″. I used the Petal Labels Die to cut out the border around the sentiment. The sentiment is from the Parcels & Petals stamp set. I used a couple sequins from the Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins.
For the Birthday Cheer card I used a base of Soft Seafoam cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ folded to 5-1/2 x 4-1/4″. The mat of Garden Lane DSP is 5-1/4″ x 4″. I die cut the tree from the Sweet Silhouettes die set on Garden Green card stock and used Winka Stella to get a shiny glimmer effect. I used the 3/8″ Scalloped Lace Trim around the DSP. The sentiment is from the Parcels & Petals stamp set stamped on Soft Seafoam with Garden Green. I used the Banner Triple Punch to make the flagged edges. I used a couple sequins from the Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins to add a little bling.
