It’s been a while since I was able to post on my blog. I’ve been so busy at work, that the days have just gotten away from me. I just returned from the Stampin Up Incentive Trip to the Greek Isles. I was a guest of my upline, but boy wouldn’t I like to earn a trip like that on my own.

I just love this paper! With just a small piece of DSP you can make such beautiful cards.
The card base is Fresh Fig cardstock with a mat of smoky slate cardstock. The sentiment is from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set, stamped with Fresh Fig and punched out using the pretty label punch backed in fresh fig cardstock. The leaf is the leaf punch from Mossy Meadow cardstock and the flower is from the Painted Glass stamp set colored using the Stampin Blends. I added three metallic pearls and a strip of Fresh Fig Mini Ruffled Ribbon. A very quick and easy card. You can change the sentiment for whatever you need. Remember the fresh fig is from the 2017 – 2019 In color’s that will be going away at the end of May 2019. Make sure you order extra cardstock, stamp pad and the re-inkers before they are gone.

I’m going to try and get caught up posting all the cards I have made. I’m an Accountant as my full time job and as you can expect, with year end, I am working long crazy hours. Hopefully, things will start calming down. I did get to go for a weekend to Chautauqua, New York for a girls crafting weekend. It is always so relaxing and good to spend time with friends.
I used the beautiful Petal Promenade DSP for this card. It has a Highland Heather card base with a mat of Blushing Bride. I embossed the flower from the Beautiful Promenade stamp set with the Grapefruit Grove embossing powder on the Grapefruit Grove foil paper that I received from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. The leaves are die cut from Garden Green card stock using the Beautiful Layers thinlets. The sentiment is from the Golden Afternoon stamp set.
The Petal Promenade DSP is so pretty, I’ve used every sheet, there wasn’t one pattern that I didn’t love.
I made this card for the Sapphire Color Challenge. Every Sunday I pick three colors from the Stampin’ Up Color Coach and make a card with them. The challenge is open to anyone that wants to experiment with different color combinations. You can post to the facebook site and share your creativity.

I’ve had a paper pumpkin subscription for quite a long time. I will say that I still have many kits that I did not put together from the beginning. But I’m here to tell you, the kits that they have been sending over the last year just keep getting better and better. I received my February kit this week and got together Friday night with some friends and put my kit together. I am really hoping that the DSP (Designer Series Paper) they used in this kit becomes available for sale, the succulents are so pretty.
