Back on Your Feet – Sapphire Papercrafts

Back on Your Feet is such a fun stamp set to use. The images are comical and can be used for both a juvenile and adult card. They are so much fun to color. I just love the giraffe “this is knot good” just cracks me up.

For the turtle card I used a crushed curry base with a piece of DSP from the Mosaic Moods Specialty Paper. The leaves are cut out of Garden Green and Mint Macaron using the dies from Magnolia Memory. I stamped the image and sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento and colored the turtle with Dark Shaded Spruce, Light Call Me Clover, Dark Mint Macaron and Light Pool Party Stamping Blends . The image and sentiment were die cut using the Stitched Nested Label Dies. The ribbon is the Mint Macaron Textile Ribbon.

The sloth is laying on a tree branch with a bandaged leg, he actually looks like me when I get home from work, tired. I used a Mint Macron card base with the Mosaic Moods Specialty DSP. I cut the front panel of the card in half (2-1/4″) so you could see the DSP on the inside of the card when you are looking at the front, The panel of Whisper White on the inside of the card for the sentiment is 5-1/4″ x 2-1/4″ which is also the same measurement for the two panels of DSP. I used the Layering Circle Dies to cut the image out. I colored the Sloth with Stampin Blends using the Light and Dark Soft Suede, Light Call me Clover and Dark Mint Macaron. I tried to push some of the Dark Soft Suede out using the Color Lifter, I thought he was too dark and it pushed it passed my image, so that’s why he looks like he had an accident. lol The twine is the Mint Macaron from the Nature’s Twine Set. I used Mint Macaron Sequins from the Basic Adhesive Backed Sequin Set.

This card is my favorite, I just love the giraffe. I used a Garden Green Card Base with a mat of Terracotta Tile. The card base is 4-1/8″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″. I cut 2-1/4″ of the bottom of the front of the card. The flap around the bottom of the card is 8-1/2″ x 2-1/4″ scored at 2-1/4″ on both sides and adhered to the back. For the top flap the Terracotta tile is cut at 4-1/16″ by 3-1/8″ and the DSP is 3-13/16″ x 3″. For the bottom front flaps the Terracotta Tile is cut at 2-1/8″ x 2″ and the DSP is 2″ x 1-7/8″. These measurements are a tad smaller than our normal matting due to needing that extra 1/8 of an inch to be able to wrap the flap on the bottom around the card. The giraffe is stamped on Whisper White and die cut with the Stitched Rectangle measuring 2-1/4″ x 3-9/16″. The Terracotta layer is 3-3/4″ x 2-3/8″ and the Garden Green layer is 3-7/8″ x 2-1/2″. Phew…….if you didn’t know fractions before, you do now! For the Stampin Blends I used Light and Dark Soft Suede and Dark So Saffron.
