How to Get the Look of Purple Posy Ink
We know you miss your Purple Posy ink. We miss it too. But, did you know that there are ways to achieve a look of Purple Posy, without having the actual ink? Try some or all of these ideas!
Stamp on Purple Posy Cardstock (item 150881) using VersaMark Ink (item 102283) to create a tone-on-tone look.
Heat emboss using Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder (item 109130) on Purple Posy Cardstock.
Add 6–8 drops of Highland Heather Classic Stampin’ Ink Refill (item 147167) to a Stampin’ Spritzer (item 126185), then dilute with rubbing alcohol to reach your desired color. Spritz the mixture onto your project.
Use Highland Heather Classic Stampin’ Ink (item 147103) with a Sponge Brayer (item 141714), Stamping Sponge (item 141337), Aqua Painter (item 103954), or stamped off. These methods look especially great on Purple Posy Cardstock!
Color cling stamps using a Purple Posy Stampin’ Write Marker (item 150079) before stamping.
Color stamped images using either light or dark Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends (item 149566).

Measurements:
Very Vanilla Card Stock
5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ folded in half to make a card the size of 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ of Very Vanilla card stock for the base
This stamp set makes beautiful cards with the 3 step stamping using Distinktive stamps. The set was designed by Million Dollar Sales Achiever Mary Ellen Byler. I love using the So Saffron with the Gray Granite. Gray seems to be my color this year, every time I do some painting in my house I’ve been using a shade a gray.
This card used a base of Gray Granite cut to A2 size. The So Saffron is cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″ and embossed using the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder. The outline of the Rose is stamped in Gray Granite with the 2nd stamp of So Saffron that was stamped off and the top layer stamped with So Saffron at full strength. The leaves are stamped with Mossy Meadow with the inside stamped off first. The card is finished with the sentiment from Botanical Bliss stamped on Whisper White with Gray Granite and die cut using the Stitched Nested Label dies. I added a bow with the Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and a couple Metallic Pearls.
This card I used a base of Whisper White with a mat of So Saffron with the edges inked with the Gray Granite. The sentiment and the trellis are both die cut with the Wild Rose Dies. The Roses and the leaves are both stamped using the same technique as the card above. I used pearls on this card to add a little embellishment.
This card has a base of So Saffron with a mat of Whisper White. I used Embossing Paste mixed with Gray Granite ReInker and spread on the card using a mask. The rose was stamped as in the two cards above. The Die cuts behind the rose are cut with the Wild Rose Dies. The Ribbon is Gray Granite Textured Weave Ribbon and the sentiment is from the Beautiful Day stamp set and die cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I used the Gold Faceted Gem in the rose and the Frosted Epoxy Droplets on the sentiment.
As you can see I had fun using this set with the So Saffron and Gray Granite color scheme.
